Born in Ascona in the Italian speaking part of Switzerland, from Swiss-American father and Danish mother. Works in a 350 year old town house in central Zürich, where she also lives with her husband and their small children Amalia and Orlando.
Apprenticeship at family's pottery Ceramica San Rocco, on the Monte Verità in Ascona, Switzerland. Work experience in Eslau pottery manufacture in Denmark. Studio Pottery Course at the Harrow College of Art and Design in London (now University of Westminster). Runs her own Pottery Studio since 1988
