Tina received a BA from Central Saint Martins College in London and an MA under Droog Design from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2004. Following an internship at Studio Job in Antwerp, Tina started her own design studio in 2006.
Her work exists between design and art, mass product and one-off, form and concept. "By stripping-down forms and deconstructing inherent concepts I try to comprehend an object’s meaning for contemporary culture. I do so, only to reconstruct it afterwards as a subjective update, a transformation of my findings into a material form." The structures that are revealed transcribe inner and outer complexity into lightness, making it appear easy.
Her projects inspire a conscious perception. "I hope to make things that last longer. A good object tells a story of our times. It will increase in value and look more beautiful as it ages."
