Judith Seng studied Product and Process Design at the University of the Arts Berlin whilst also working for Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec in Paris and the Imaginary Manufactory (DIM) in Berlin. In 2005 she set up her own studio in Berlin.
She works on projects that aim to uncover and provoke new opportunities and perspectives on our existing environment.
Alongside her studio work, Judith Seng also teaches and consults. Having taught at the University of the Arts Berlin, the Hogeschol in Gent/Belgium and being a visiting professor at the University of Arts in Kassel, Germany she currently teaches design thinking at d-school in Potsdam.
Her work has been exhibited worldwide, for example at the Art Centre Seoul, Caroussel du Louvre Paris, Museum fuer angewandte Kunst Cologne, MOMA in Berlin, Kunstgewerbemuseum Berlin, Gesellschaft fuer Kunst und Gestaltung Bonn, Tokyo Art Museum, Museum der Dinge Berlin, MARTa Herford, Appel Design Gallery Berlin and Post Design Gallery in Milan.
Her work is present in the collections of the Fonds National d`Art Contemporain (FNAC), at Industreal, at Memphis s.r.l. and CIAV Meisenthal.
