International Architecture Events to Attend in 2022
Because the pandemic generally devastated the people’s lives and economy the whole year of 2021, the regular biennials and triennial events of the 2021 Venice Architecture Biennale were postponed. But, they promised to give a complete calendar of architecture events to share in the year 2022.

Here are some of the most awaited architecture events for the year 2022 that you shouldn’t miss:
INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE BIENNALE OF SAO PAULO
When: May 21 to July 10, 2022
The theme for next year’s architectural international event is “Crossings” or Travessias. It generally shows the connection among territories, the engagement with political matters like colonialism, and people’s movement.
HONG KONG & SHENZHEN BI-CITY BIENNALE OF URBANISM (UABB 2022)
When: August to October 2022
Unlike the conventional architecture event, this one makes use of an innovative method and it will be held in two cities simultaneously. The theme “Rethink & Rebuild Resilience” and the event’s goal are still both tentative. But, this event was established to serve as a platform for modern-day ideas in connection to urbanization.
OSLO ARCHITECTURE TRIENNALE (OAT 2022)
When: September 21 to November 2022
Christian Pagh, the curator of the event, gave the OAT 2022 a working title of Mission Neighbourhood – (Re)forming communities. This architectural event generally highlights the public areas and the frontier of collectivity.
